Why I Started This Program:
I never imagined that a chest CT scan would change the way I view my own health. The scan incidentally revealed that I had coronary calcifications, which was further confirmed by a specific scan called a coronary calcium score. This test is extremely low-cost and carries a very low radiation dose, which is negligible compared to the critical information it provides. It highlights the level of calcification in the arteries, helping to assess the risk of heart disease.

This discovery was unexpected, and it sent me down a path of concern and deeper investigation. What else could be happening in my body that I wasn't aware of? That question led me to undergo a CT angiogram and seek evaluation from a cardiologist. I realized that despite having a high calcium score and risk of atherosclerosis, I had options: PCSK9 inhibitors, statins, and lifestyle changes to mitigate the issue. This experience motivated me to launch this program.

Why Prevention Matters to Me
This discovery opened my eyes to a significant problem within our healthcare system. As long as we feel healthy, regular checkups are often basic, and important details about our long-term health risks can go unnoticed. For example, we don’t screen for colon cancer until age 45, but many cancers and cardiovascular issues begin much earlier...
Basic Health Screening
Our Basic Health Screening services give you a comprehensive overview of your health, offering essential tests to identify any early signs of underlying conditions. The following tests are part of our basic screening:

-
Complete Blood Count (CBC): This test evaluates overall health by measuring red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets to detect conditions like anemia and infection.

-
Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP): This panel checks your body’s electrolyte balance and kidney function, including glucose and calcium levels.

-
Cystatin C: A sensitive test for assessing kidney function early, especially in individuals with diabetes or hypertension.
Cardiovascular Health Panel
We use Boston Heart Labs CV Map to provide an advanced cardiovascular health profile.
This comprehensive test measures several biomarkers that give you a detailed risk assessment for heart disease:

-
Total Cholesterol and Direct LDL-C: Indicators of your overall cholesterol health and risk for heart disease.
-
Small Dense LDL-C: A more dangerous form of LDL cholesterol that increases the risk of atherosclerosis.
-
Lipoprotein A: A genetic risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
-
ApoB: Reflects the number of atherogenic particles (LDL) in your blood, a stronger indicator than regular cholesterol.
-
hs-CRP (High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein): A marker of inflammation linked to cardiovascular disease.
-
Lp-PLA2: An enzyme associated with the development of atherosclerosis.
-
Lathosterol and Desmosterol: These markers help assess your body’s cholesterol production. Elevated levels may indicate increased synthesis, guiding personalized treatment approaches.
-
Beta-Sitosterol and Campesterol: These plant sterols help evaluate cholesterol absorption in the gut.

EKG and Coronary Calcium Scan:
To monitor your heart rhythm and detect abnormalities. We also provide Coronary Calcium Scans, which detect calcified plaque buildup in the arteries—an important indicator of heart disease risk.
Metabolic Health Panel
Our Metabolic Health Panel evaluates how well your body processes glucose and fats. Early detection of metabolic syndrome or prediabetes can help prevent complications like diabetes, heart disease, and stroke:

-
Glucose: Measures your current blood sugar level.
-
HbA1c: A long-term marker of blood sugar control, crucial for diagnosing and monitoring diabetes.
-
Insulin Resistance (HOMA-IR): Helps assess how well your body processes insulin, identifying those at risk for diabetes or metabolic syndrome.
Body Composition Analysis (DEXA Scan)
Our DEXA Scan provides detailed insights into your body composition, including:

-
Visceral Fat Assessment: Visceral fat surrounds your organs and increases your risk of metabolic diseases.
-
Bone Density: Measures the strength of your bones to detect early signs of osteoporosis.
-
Muscle Mass: Helps assess muscle-to-fat ratio to evaluate overall musculoskeletal health.
Cancer Screening
We offer screening services for the most common types of cancer, including:

-
PSA Test for Prostate Cancer: Detects prostate-specific antigens in men.
-
Mammogram for Breast Cancer: Essential for detecting early signs of breast cancer in women.
-
Colonoscopy for Colorectal Cancer: A screening test to detect early signs of colon cancer.
Genetic Testing
We offer genetic testing to provide a personalized approach to your health. These tests can assess your risk for hereditary conditions and how your body may respond to certain treatments:

-
Apolipoprotein E (ApoE): Assesses your risk for both cardiovascular disease and dementia.
-
Factor V Leiden: Identifies a genetic mutation that increases the risk of abnormal blood clot formation.
-
MTHFR (Methylenetetrahydrofolate Reductase): This gene plays a role in processing folate, which affects cardiovascular health.
Supplementation & Injections
We offer a variety of supplements and injections aimed at enhancing your overall health and managing metabolic conditions:

-
GIP/GLP-1 Peptide Injections: These injections help improve insulin sensitivity and assist in managing conditions like diabetes and metabolic syndrome.
-
NAD Injections: NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) injections boost cellular repair and energy production, improving overall metabolic health and promoting longevity.
-
Vitamin C and Myers Cocktail IV Therapy: These intravenous therapies provide powerful antioxidant support, enhance immunity, reduce inflammation, and boost energy levels.
-
Vitamin B12 Injections: These injections support energy levels, brain function, and metabolism, especially for individuals with B12 deficiency.
